# useIsRouteProtected

Determine whether or not a route is considered as `protected`.

## Reference

```ts
const isProtected = useIsRouteProtected(route)
```

### Parameters

- `route`: A `Route` object.

### Returns

A `boolean` value indicating whether or not the matching route is `protected`.
